The beautiful town of Banda Aceh that was so badly hit by the Tsunami that struck on the 26th of December 2004. We will now take you on a tour through this impressive city. Although the Tsunami has destroyed so much houses and infrastructure, many historical (Dutch) buildings have survived.
This tour will take you along museums, historical buildings and Tsunami landmarks. Take your time and don’t forget to get a kopi (coffee) on your way, or some of the delicious snack like rujak, timphan. Make sure you bring along sun-lotion, wear a hat if necessary and be aware of the Acehnese dress-code for women, keep your shoulders and knees covered

From Ulhe lhee port or hotel you will be droped by becak at the second biggest tsunami victim’s grave than proceed to Kapal Apung ( big ship was brought away 5 km to village) see some photos of the tsunami disaster. afterwards while sightseeing Banda Aceh city, we are going to visit a fishership which still hanging down on the roof of the house. At least one hour before, must be at the airport or bus terminal.
